Ten years ago, Dr. Stephens saw a chiropractic clinic in Streetsboro for sale and knew it was perfect—it had private exam rooms, a large fitness and therapy area, and provided a warm, comfortable feeling for patients. This clinic is now the home of Stephens Pain Recovery Center. Dr. Stephens began treating patients in his hometown alongside a highly respected local doctor of chiropractic who at the time had 35 years of experience, and he credits that doctor for teaching him the importance of respecting patients and his medical field.

Dr. Stephens is committed to continuing education, always challenging himself by attending a broad and diverse selection of continuing education hours including physical therapy, chiropractic and rehabilitation topics to stay at the forefront of the latest information and techniques. As he likes to quote, “The day I realized I did not know it all, I learned the most.”

Dr. Stephens learned early on that many chiropractic patients suffer from “episodic” relief. They usually leave a session feeling comfortable but occasionally feel a return of their discomfort within 24 to 48 hours. Dr. Stephens works to avoid this happening to our patients at the Center.
